St.Vincent de Paul Society

The Society’s members and volunteers help anyone in need, regardless of their background, culture, religion or political opinion mostly through practical assistance. Members and volunteers can assist in several ways such as in the welfare office or collecting bread.

Teams of our Lady

TEAMS is a movement for Christian married couples which reaches across the world. In our parish we have 3 TEAMS . Each TEAM consists of 5 to 7 couples and a spiritual counsellor. Each month they meet in a member couple’s home and share a light meal, pray together and discuss a topic which has been chosen and prepared by one of the couples. There is also a sharing time when the couples talk about there “highs” and “lows” of the month. The sessions are bound by confidentiality and quickly lead to a bond of trust and caring within the group. Being in a TEAM provides a great opportunity for exploration of faith and growth of spirituality as well as building life long friendships.
