Bishop Shane Mackinlay has been our bishop since October 2019.

He hails from Ballarat and, apart from studying Theology, has a degree in Physics as well as a doctorate in Philosophy from the Leuven University in Belgium.

While he was the Master at Catholic Theological College in Melbourne he also ministered to the 3 parishes of Bungaree, Ballan and Gordon.

He has a deep pastoral heart and is working hard to come to know the people of his new diocese.
